Busy Spring Bee

Recently, I've felt like a busy bee, hovering over many things at once, everything is urgent, everything needs to be addressed.  Makes me miss the old days of no phones, no internet, no facebook, no constant need for attention.

This has been a busy month overall, but this week even more so.  I've designed, created, photographed, listed, edited, tweeked quite a few pieces these past 2 weeks.  I wanted to share some more with you.

As you may know from my Etsy profile, the majority of my designs are travel inspired.  I'm a travel-a-holic, if the time and finances allowed it, I'd never be home!  The designs featured below, are just that, a piece inspired by a semi-recent destination.  Are you ready for a journey?

Have you ever been to the Caribbean?  The rich vibrant colors in nature, and cultural attire is quite energizing.  These earrings were inspired by a trip to Aruba.  Tiny country... seriously you could bike across it, but the people are so warm & receptive!  The earrings are chalcedony stone, in a variety of energizing colors: hot pink, lime green, juicy peach!

My families roots are from Poland.  Poland has a beautiful Baltic coast!  A great natural "present" from the Sea is amber, a natural resin that is thousands, sometimes millions of years old.  It comes in 3 colors, light yellow, cognac brown, and a forest green.  The color depends on the tree sap from which the amber was formed.  Here's a more modern spin on a relic.

The below necklace, which I've named "Green Gables"...yes from Anne of Green Gables, is a new favorite.  It features a rare form of Chalcedony paraiba.  While green, a warmed hue center beams through.

A spring break trip to the Bahamas, with a group of high school friends, was an awesome time!  It too insired this beach/coastal necklace.  Sterling silver starfish, adorned by slate quartz, and topped off with a tiny freshwater pearl.

Hey, it's almost happy hour time!  Have a wonderful weekend!
