While my favorite season is fall, I am happy that summer is finally here. The sun shinning brightly, birds signing and waking in the morning...and we can finally wear capri's and sandals! I love it!
I love summer, because everything is vibrant once again. The trees are richly green, flowers pop with reds, violets and yellows. Its fabulous to simply take a walk and be in tune with nature. Speaking of nature, I've recently missed the peace and quiet of a forest. Living in the suburbia of Chicago allows me to be relatively close to a forest (actually I can see it outside my balcony!). So I've hopped on my bike, and taken rides through the forest. Its so relaxing! Its quiet... almost too quiet. At first I thought to myself, darn, I should have brought my ipod with me. Then I realized further into the ride, I dont need an ipod, I need quiet and nature. Living in an urban setting, makes you forget how many different species of birds there are, how unique their calls and tweets are. Even something so simple, as the sound of the wind blowing leaves on trees is mesmerizing. I'm glad I got back with nature. Hopefully, on a future ride, I'll be able to take my camera to snap a few picutres of nature at its best.
With the nature theme, I'm going to have a few new additions to my Etsy shop soon. I've designed some earrings with these fabulous freshwater pearls (seriously, the luster on them is phenomenal!). Its a different spin on my creations, hope you'll like them.

Hi Everyone!
Ahh, my sisters wedding is finally over! All the preparation, all the planning, finito!
All in all, it was a beautiful spectacular wedding, lots of people I haven't seen in ages, real great time.

As the jewelry creator that I am, this set pictured here is what my sister wore as her bridal jewelry. Odd is blue? Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! So this is the something new & blue all in one. How pretty it looked on a blond, blue eyed girl in sharp contrast to a gleemingly white wedding dress. The photographer said the crystals sparkled so much, they distracted him! No lie, its almost his exact words.
Of course I have a new set available in my Etsy shop.
Caribbean Aqua Swarovski Baroque Crystal Leverback Earring Chain Necklace 16 or 18 inch Pendant Set Sterling Silver 925

Free Shipping!

Free shipping!
What?! I love free shipping. Everytime I make a purchase online, and I see the "free shipping" sign, it just brings me joy. I feel like I'm getting a steal, or at least not paying overages.
I hope my Etsy customers will take up this great offer.
Now onto more fun stuff. I ordered some absolutely stunning blue chalcedony beads! Ahh, I simply can't wait for them to arrive (a bit ironic, but they did not have free shipping, lol!) I love when I order some new fun & exciting bead or rock that I haven't worked with before. My creative side comes out, to make a unique jewelry piece. I don't favor the same old thing lots of people make and boast about uniqueness. Come on! Unique is unique, meaning you can't find 100 of the same pieces!
